Sanco Inn Kyoto Hachijoguchi Shikinoyu

This hotel tops my list in Kyoto! The spot is unbeatable and makes moving around a breeze. The staff are very friendly, and the onsen is clean and well maintained. Everything was excellent, and I truly enjoyed my time here. I’ll definitely return if I get another chance to visit Kyoto. Highly recommended!

The room and the facilities were spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful; they even offered free umbrellas for rainy days, which was fantastic. The only downside was that the room felt cramped for a family with a child, but it would be fine for a young couple.

“An introvert’s dream! I really enjoyed staying at this hotel for my first visit to Japan! Thank you!”

I appreciate that housekeeping only comes on the fourth day, but you can leave dirty towels and trash for pickup if you want—perfect for an introvert! The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and nice. The desk, chair, and mini fridge were useful, and the A/C worked well. There were plenty of free amenities, and the price was reasonable. The bathroom was small, and I didn’t know I had to insert the key card to turn on the lights.
