The view was great. The shower was broken.
“Vi är så nöjda med vår vistelse!”
A very nice little cabin with fantastic location and view! Spotlessly clean and fresh. There was no staff on site and we got no info on key pickup. We did find a staff member at the restaurant, and they sorted it out!
“Vilken utsikt!”
The location was excellent.
“Absolut, inte prisvärt och dålig service”
The view was nice if you’re staying far ahead. There was no coffee maker; we asked for one on day two and got none. The hot water wasn’t enough for two showers for two people, which the cabin is meant for. Carrying all the gear up the hill was a bit tricky and there’s a walk between two cabins, which must be very annoying if you’re in this cabin with panoramic windows and a terrace facing people walking back and forth. The staff were very uninterested and it was hard to get them to smile. Low service! After a 7‑hour trail we wanted to eat but the kitchen was closed; nowhere says the kitchen closes at 21 h while the restaurant stays open until 22. They could have offered something simple, but they didn’t. We didn’t eat all day, only breakfast and a bit of energy at a trail station. There were no other eating options nearby. It was unclear how to check out, but a guy who was cleaning the toilets got the key…
Beautiful place, magnificent view. A little too exposed for us who were in the cabin in the middle (where there’s the closest path down), but we didn’t mind much. The cabin had everything we needed for a short stay, we could cook basic stuff. We brought linen and towels, as well as a coffee machine (but if you like powder coffee they have a water boiler). We didn’t meet any staff during the days we were there, but we got the code for the keybox by text and didn’t need any additional help. The restaurant was open on Friday and Saturday (low season), it was lovely to eat there. There are some comments about the restaurant fan’s noise and we get it, it was much quieter the days it was closed. But you get used to it. We enjoyed the sauna after our hiking/climbing days and it was great. We played boule and cornhole that were available in the area. It was so peaceful there, truly an amazing place to stay at. For us there wasn’t really anything that was “bad”.
