Breakfast was good, the location was ideal, and the décor was very appealing… I liked the old building, but the noise in my first room (No. 20) from the kitchen ventilation was horrific; for the second night I got a front‑room that was very good.

Great view straight onto the World Heritage Site, a quiet pedestrian zone for kids, all staff were very friendly, breakfast was plentiful and lovingly presented, and you can’t park right in front because it’s a pedestrian zone.

A portable fan was left in the room, which was a real lifesaver during the heatwave! It might have just needed an extension cord so I could angle it better. The beds were quite comfortable. The location is outstanding.

Breakfast options were varied; the toilet flush wasn’t fully sealed, so you can hear faint water leaking at night, which still needs fixing, otherwise no complaints.
