Country Rustic Loghouse at Teepee Meadows

Claude's cabin was such a special place to stay. It’s hard to find authentic spots these days that feel so heartfelt. The view and the animals were just an added bonus. We enjoyed slowing down here. I’d stay again in a heartbeat! The bed was a little too hard for me, but my partner liked it.

This cottage was wonderfully rustic and cozy, perfectly meeting our needs for a relaxing stay. The variety of animals on site was absolutely delightful. We’ve already recommended it to our adult children as a great getaway for a few days. Claude, the owner, is a fascinating, multi‑talented man who helped make our stay charming. The outdoor shower was in an outhouse‑like building and the hot water was spotty, but this is a rustic country location, not a lodge pretending to be rustic.

The animals and the countryside were amazing, the fireplace was blazing when we arrived, and the people were very welcoming – definitely coming back.

“Abenteuerübernachtung im Blockhaus”

It was a real highlight staying in the block cabin; everything needed was there, nothing missing. The view into the wilderness was unique, and we felt like real trappers. Claude had plenty to share, thanks. The animals on the property were friendly. Valemount isn’t as busy as before, but there’s still a small moor trail where you can wander, visit the museum, and find everything for self-sufficiency or a nearby restaurant at the Best Western Hotel. It’s perfect in the warmer season. We only saw one moose, but that was great.
