It’s close to Kings Hall. The shower was scalding hot, so I couldn’t use it. The kitchen was dirty and messy, with junk papers everywhere, including mail in the passageway. There was a strong smell of curry and tubs of it in the fridge. I’ve stayed twice before and had an upstairs room that was lovely, but downstairs number 1 wasn’t so nice and there was no iron provided either.

Convenient. The key wasn’t in the keybox. The shower was too hot. The kitchen was cluttered.

The service was professional and very accommodating, especially since we booked late on short notice. Nothing to dislike.

Clean (ish) and warm. Cheap. Convenient for the railway station. I wasn’t sure how to get in and was given no information before arrival. I messaged on the day but didn’t receive a reply because I had no phone reception when it came through. Eventually I got a message while waiting outside that I needed to knock on the door, which I had already done but nobody heard me. I finally got in about 20 minutes after I arrived. Wi‑Fi didn’t work. The network shown on the room information wasn’t available. I tried the password for all the networks I could see on my phone but none connected. Walls in the room were dirty, although general cleanliness was good. The shower was adequate but it was hard to control the temperature. It was nice to have a kettle in the shared kitchen and I used it when I got back to my room in the evening, but in the morning it was no longer there. I presume someone took it to their room. It’s not the fault of the property owner, but a sign asking people not to do that would help.
