Casa da Moita

We really liked the stunning building, especially its elegant façade. However, we had to do a thorough cleaning when we arrived. We appreciated the calm and relaxing environment, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The downside is that the accommodation is far from everything else; shops, restaurants, and activities require a car. We left the lodging on Friday morning because we still had places to visit, so we booked another nearby place to be closer to the attractions.

“Uma desilusão”

The location is quite peaceful, the first‑floor lounge and dining room are very pleasant. The bathroom falls short of basic standards, and even in a rural setting the rooms and bathroom need more upkeep.

The beds are comfortable and the place is quiet. There is a damp smell and a drainage issue on the ground floor, no internet connection and the Wi‑Fi is non‑functional. When it rains heavily, water enters through the ground‑floor door and pools in the dining room and kitchen. The bathroom is very old.

The owner who greets you and hands over the key is friendly, kind and helpful – absolutely flawless. The people in Moita are very pleasant, the area is beautiful, and it’s a great spot to unwind.

“Casa bem equipada com bons espaços. Tranquilidade e sossego.”

The house is well equipped. Mrs. Alice is always available. The rooms and living area on the middle floor are quite comfortable. The upper‑floor room gets a bit warm, especially in summer, and the mattresses there are not very comfortable.
