“Wunderbares Hotel in ruhiger Lage, genau richtig zum Entspannen”

We were warmly welcomed and received a nice, cozy room. Small, but completely sufficient for one night. Plenty of storage space. Good food and drinks were available across from Pauli Wirt. Breakfast was excellent! If you’re looking for peace and can block out the church bells, this place is great even for longer stays. A beautiful area for cycling and walking. The glass door to the toilet could have offered more privacy, and as mentioned, the loud church bells at six in the morning are annoying, but for a single night’s stay it’s tolerable.

The hotel was run with real professionalism and great attention to detail, and they even looked after our little four‑legged “daughter” with care; breakfast was outstanding, the setting was perfect for a few quiet days—right in the centre of a tiny village, close to the mountains for walks and still within an hour’s drive for day trips to places like Graz, the Lipizzan horse farm at Piper or the Carinthian lakes.

The décor is very tasteful, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. The owner was exceptionally friendly. The downside was that the bathroom and toilet shared a room, and the door was glass, providing insufficient privacy.
