The place sits in a convenient spot, but the shuttle that takes you to the lift and back feels like an extra hassle. The staff could have been more helpful, and the food options on the property and nearby are pretty limited.

The location is amazing, especially being close to Iwatake, which makes catching buses a breeze. The rooms were spacious and spotless.

The room was large, the staff were very friendly, and the dinner was the best meal I’ve had in Japan! The only downside was the lack of a private shower.

The onsen is fantastic and the lifts are close by, plus the rates are reasonable. However, it isn’t truly ski‑in, ski‑out as advertised, and the breakfast could have offered a bit more for Western tastes.
