It’s a very honest hotel for the price of the accommodation. The location is suitable in terms of proximity to markets, malls, and cafés, which I think already makes it a great cost‑benefit. Even though the building is old, the bathroom had been renovated, the Wi‑Fi was good, and the neighborhood is pleasant. Checking online reviews would be naïve if you expect a breakfast with a wide variety of everything; keep in mind you’ll find only the essentials. In some cities, in hotels of similar value, you can find scrambled eggs at breakfast, for example, but it’s understandable that this is a complicating factor for the hotel when considering guest flow, so that’s why I say it’s just the essentials.
