The accommodation was low‑basic but more than sufficient. The room was small, but friendly staff compensated for it, even though they weren’t fluent in French; we still had enjoyable conversations.

Price. But at what price… This hotel, like the other “Le Chamois,” is owned by Danes. There is no French communication. After a double charge error on the credit card, it is impossible to get a refund. France deserves better than foreign management of its heritage.

Just a ski lodge. Stayed in summer but the heater was stuck on and the staff would not respond to messages to help turn it off.

The staff were good. The room was a bit bland.

Great value for money. Conveniently located. The bathroom drains poorly, which seems to be a recurring problem in the Alpe d’Huez establishments.
