“Could be better”
The location was fine for us, but our overall impression of the hotel and its management was very disappointing. The owners seemed to care nothing about the condition of the rooms, furniture, or cleanliness. Everything was dirty and dusty. It looked like the staff only swapped the bed linen and splashed water in the bathroom as a pretense of cleaning. A broom lay in the hallway, and we ended up sweeping the floor ourselves. The room was full of hair—on the floor, the bed, and the nightstands. Dust covered the switches and other surfaces, clearly accumulating for at least a week. The walls and furniture were stained with drops, streaks, and even what looked like snot. The bed had holes, the pillows were moldy, and the walls were no better. We have traveled extensively across Asia, staying in hostels for as little as $5, but this hotel was the dirtiest and most disgusting place we’ve encountered in 10 years of worldwide travel. To the guests who gave this hotel a high rating: do you have any self‑respect? Or is staying in filth acceptable for you, even when you’re paying for it? I have the pics, will add them if possible.
