This was our favorite stay in Peru so far. Gil and Maruja offered flawless hospitality, helping with everything. We chose to dine dinner and breakfast every day during our 5‑day stay, and it was always delicious and healthy. Hot water, strong Wi‑Fi, and clean, comfortable rooms—couldn’t ask for better.

Definitely the best place we stayed during our entire trip to Peru! We came for trekking and climbing in the Cordillera Blanca. After a night bus, we could check in early at 8 AM for free, which was a lifesaver. When we left for a 3‑day trek, Maruja and Gilf stored our bags with zero hassle. Breakfast is delicious, and for 25 soles you get a home‑cooked dinner with dessert. Maruja and Gilf are local mountaineers and overall wonderful people. Gilf, a guide, happily gave us great recommendations and insider tips. On the top floor they have a small bouldering gym that they let us use, and they rented us gear to climb in Los Olivos. The people running this place truly have huge hearts. I’m writing this review genuinely touched by their incredible warmth and hospitality. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. It’s warm, and the water is hot. An absolutely fantastic place!
