It is a magical family‑owned hotel that gives you a unique historical experience. Amazing architecture and interior design. Fantastic view with extraordinarily friendly hosts. Parking is spacious and located in front of the hotel, you can walk to the main square. The temperatures are pleasant in the summer and Makrinitsa is a place definitely worth visiting. Only 25 minutes from Volos, I absolutely recommend the stay at Hotel Petrino! Everything was great.

The hotel sits just outside Makrinitsa, offering free parking and a well‑located terrace with a solid breakfast. It’s housed in an older building with a somewhat conservative décor, is air‑conditioned, and lacks an on‑site restaurant. The bathroom feels a bit cramped and there’s little storage space for luggage.
