Walking into Lyme Regis was easy, the location was quiet, parking was available, the hosts were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the Smart TV and WiFi were good, but the cooked breakfast was only OK and asking for items like cereals or toast felt awkward; the non‑cooked options such as fruit, granola and yoghurt could be better.

There was plenty of breakfast choice, the service was quick and friendly, and the seafront was within easy walking distance.

Phil and Ruth were great hosts, very helpful and understanding when my travel plans changed unexpectedly on short notice, allowing me to stay for the 3 nights I had booked, and I was grateful because I had planned 3 days of walking.
