The place was surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, offering a swimming pool, breakfast on a private yard, and a garden terrace for snacks or wine. The host was friendly, always smiling and helpful. It was cozy, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and exploring the Chianti region. It’s about a 15‑minute drive from San Gimignano and roughly an hour from Florence.

A great accommodation with a beautiful view of San Gimignano (about 15 minutes by car), a large 15 m pool with plenty of loungers and umbrellas, a lovingly designed complex, a hearty breakfast bar with wine, beer, long drinks, and the usual non‑alcoholic menu available on site, for example on the terrace with a unique view (private drinks are not allowed). Free Wi‑Fi in the complex, ample parking, a large fridge with a freezer in the apartment, mini‑fridges in the two rooms, an indoor courtyard breakfast area, and a terrace option for a small extra fee. It’s a family run place, everyone is very friendly and helpful with good tips. There’s a very good restaurant nearby (3 minutes by car). The Wi‑Fi was weak or barely reached the pool for longer stays; it would be nice to have German TV channels like ARD and/or ZDF.

The reception was friendly and the breakfast was great. The bathroom in the room was low quality: the toilet seat was loose, several tiles in the bathroom were cracked, and the shower screen was rusty at the bottom. There was also a yellow ring in the pool that made it seem poorly cleaned. Finally, more care could be given to the garden and terrace near the apartments.
