It’s a bit remote but quiet; a description on how to handle the heating would also be helpful for the stove.

The entire surroundings, including the vacation apartment, were great. However, the heating system didn’t work properly.

The place was modern, spacious, with a fantastic view and a quiet spot right on the water. When we arrived, it was uncomfortably cold the first afternoon and evening, but the heating was fixed on the second day; the towels we requested were also delivered on the second day.

The location was superb, the hosts were friendly and the rooms were clean and lovely. You could rent bicycles and paddle boats right there, and it was easy to cycle to Lübben, Lübbenau, and the Wotschofska inn. It was very quiet at night. In the mornings, with the windows open, traffic noise was audible from the street. The entrance gate only opens with a key, which is a bit awkward, and once you’ve “handed it over” you can’t open the gate again; best not to be clumsy 😂👍. These are minor issues that don’t affect the overall rating.

The natural, tranquil setting was wonderful, and the range of leisure activities was good. The owner was very friendly, the staff and the restaurant food were excellent, and I highly recommend it – such quality is now rare. The fresh air was a breath of fresh air.
