Resort Malevil

The food at the restaurant was excellent. The location is beautiful, with a zoo farm and play area for kids. The accommodation was clean. The rooms on Prague Street lack sufficient storage space; there is no wardrobe or at least hooks for coats. The mattresses are too soft, but I understand preferences vary. The attic rooms are not suitable for people with reduced mobility because of steep stairs. I recommend lying in the bed with your feet against the wall to avoid bumping your head on the ceiling. There is no way to brew coffee or tea, nor to heat milk for a baby. A kettle, mugs, and teaspoons are missing. The bathroom has no hair dryer.

On our way to Prague, we stopped at this hotel. The restaurant was simple but the dishes were very good and the service friendly. The room was decent, a bit austere but not bothersome. Breakfast was also simple. The parking was not covered for the motorcycle, but there was no cause for concern.

“Die Region ist sehr schön, aber ich würde das Resort nicht empfehlen.”

A nice area for hiking. The annex is about 1 km away, completely outside the resort, with no walking or cycling path. Our room had four beds even though we were only two people. Everywhere there were huge cobwebs, and the bathroom floor was full of crumbs and hair. There was no wardrobe, only one chest of drawers, and only one coat hanger at the closet. The staff were very reserved, even unfriendly. A one‑hour sauna session costs about 28 euros per person.

“Gerne wieder, mitten in der Natur.”

The restaurant kept operating even with few guests, and the cuisine was good. Nothing else to note.

The staff were great and the surrounding nature was beautiful, but the price‑quality ratio was disappointing, the wine came in a box, and the bedding felt like a hospital sheet.
