“A gem of a place to stay or to eat”
A fantastic discovery, and hats off for rescuing the pub! The staff were warm and friendly, and the room was beautiful. They gave us a complimentary tray and a lovely welcome that made us feel special. The menu was great, with a good selection of homemade and local dishes, and both dinner and breakfast were superb. The only downside was the heating in the room; we could have asked but assumed it was on a timer because of the weather outside, which it wasn’t. It’s such a charming place, so please make sure to vacuum in, around, and behind the furniture and bed.
