The shared space and sitting room were comfortable, and the bedrooms were a good size.
“Fantastic over night stop”
The hosts were fantastic and couldn’t do enough. The suburb breakfast was great, and it was a super overnight stop on the NC500 motorcycle tour. No complaints.

A great place to stay. The owners were wonderful, even helping us with our car issues. Breakfast was good. Nothing to add.

A warm, friendly welcome and a fantastic spot right on the NC500, with easy ferry access to the Orkneys and the Castle of Mey literally on your doorstep. The full Scottish breakfast cooked by Eileen was great. The only thing that could have been better was the bath sheet, which felt a bit rough and might need replacing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay as part of our NC500 trip – Graeme and Eileen were the most fantastic and warm hosts, having thought of everything. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had all the essentials after a long day, and we loved the sweet decorations throughout the house. Following the hosts’ advice, we booked dinner in nearby John o'Groats because local options can be limited. The wide breakfast selection in the morning was enjoyable with Graeme’s humorous conversation, and we could see the varied birds visiting the feeder. The only minor issue was that the window in our room was a little stiff to close until we figured out the mechanism.
