“I will never book this hotel again!!!!!! The Wrost Staff who blocked me before I even travelled.”
The location was fine, but the day before, that so‑called manager was incredibly rude—she blocked me on WhatsApp and never responded through the booking app. She told me to find another hotel, even though my airport pickup was already paid for and booked. Thankfully someone stepped in and fixed the situation so I could stay. I was only planning to switch hotels after I flew to Phuket. Then the AC was a disaster: the old unit kept dripping water, so I had to call maintenance. The first time it happened I moved to a different room for the night; the next morning they said it was fixed, so I went back. Midway through the second night, around 1 a.m., the AC suddenly stopped working, forcing me to move rooms again. I had to repack everything and haul it to a different floor, which completely ruined my mood.
“Lasciate ogni speranza voi che entrate”
I had no positives; I left after just one hour. To start, I had stayed here before and given a decent rating, but this time… The instructions said check‑in until 18:00, I arrived just before 18:00 and nobody was at the desk; an Indian guy from the Indian restaurant was managing the tables next to the reception, taking instructions via WhatsApp from the manager, who was also sending me instructions via W.A. I entered the room, took off my shoes, and SPLASH—my foot hit a puddle caused by a ceiling leak, and that was it. I turned on the air‑conditioner and noticed a tissue paper stuck inside (who knows why); the unit didn’t work properly, so it was a hellish heat in the room. I asked the manager for another room. He said all rooms were full, but he would call the AC technician and I’d have to wait 20 minutes. Knowing how long 20 minutes can stretch in Thailand and that I was like Saint Thomas, I checked Booking to see if the hotel was really sold out. I saw rooms available in real time. I asked the manager why he’d lie about room availability; he replied those rooms were available for guests who were still to arrive (obviously a big mistake). I told him he could have given me another room while the technician fixed mine, and that my old room would be available for someone else, and that in those 20 minutes that had turned into 45, I should have done something else… but his messages never reached me because he blocked me on W.A. When I saw he had blocked me, I packed up and left. Never seen anything like this.
It was quiet, but no staff were available.
“Rude burmese cleaning workers knocking on my door before 12”
I was impressed by the spacious bathroom and wardrobe, but the Burmese staff knocked on my door asking me to check out before 12:00, which felt rude; I was already aware that checkout was before 12:00, so they should have waited.
There was too much noise from the street side, and you can’t pay with a credit card.
