Best Western Plus West Covina Inn

“Noisy unit”

The location was easy to reach, but our room had a loud AC unit, the toilet made noise all night, and the fridge knocked constantly.

Early checkin. Stayed several times in 3 different rooms and always had no functioning ac. Room was extremely hot. I had better ac at motel 6 Biscuits in breakfast were dry and not warmed up

“Would never stay there again, staff not friendly!”

The staff were not welcoming; when we greeted a few cleaners, they stared at us with awful faces. The older man at the front desk was rude and disrespectful about our service dog, insisting he needed to hire extra cleaners. He never let us explain that we had already spoken to a friendly lady who had called the room about the service dog paperwork. He ended up charging an extra $100 to my card and threatened to add $250 without consent.

“It was pleasant, location with restaurants and retail stores close by is a plus.”

Location and breakfast was pleasant. Rooms were not clean enough with a fresh smell when you walk in. You could smell the uncleaniness as just not a fresh scent of the room being clean. In addition to the air conditioner vents were very dirty, and also when you turned on the ac in the room, there was a smell. I would recommend for the room to be more cleaner and fresher and the vents clean in the air conditioners in all rooms. It was pleasant. However, it could have been a better stay. If the room was fresher and cleaner. I do want to say this has been my second time staying there and maybe it was just that room. The room was double beds, and that room was much cleaner and fresher. However, the AC did not work well in that room
