“Das Hotel war sehr gut ausgestattet”
The beach proximity is ideal, but the steelworks in the dunes bothered me. As someone from the Ruhr area, it slightly spoiled the stay.

Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin, situated 40 metres atop a dune in Wijk aan Zee/North Holland, offers an unparalleled panorama from its rooms, restaurant, and Skybar. The retro-chic hotel boasts a luxurious atmosphere, with sandy beaches, cosy pavilions, and a village centre within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, and Beverwijk.

Wonderful location and view! Beautifully decorated rooms, a cozy restaurant, and a skybar. The dinner buffet was varied 😃. Nothing to complain about.

Everything was top‑class 👍🏻. The only downside is the industry behind the hotel.

Great room with sea view. The breakfast is always the same; everything is available, but a few variations would be nice. Also, the eggs, bacon, and pancakes were always cold.

The location, upgraded room, breakfast, and overall setting were all great. The only downside was the lighting in the lift – it’s just a freight lift – and it would be better if the lighting could be adjusted for a different experience.
