After two weeks in Africa, this was the only place where we truly felt in the African savannah – the location is stunning with views of Kilimanjaro and the savannah spread out before you, it’s a small camp so it feels like a real safari rather than a hotel, and we still had the comfort of a cozy bed and warm showers, all for a very reasonable price; we highly recommend Little Amanya Camp!

The location is fantastic with a beautiful view of Kilimanjaro, but the property is too expensive for the quality – there are bugs on the floor, the bathroom looks nice only in photos, the water is sourced from wells and delivered by tanker trucks, heated but never above 70 °C, raising concerns about Legionella safety, which is common in Africa; overall the price is higher than in Vienna’s center and the conditions are typical of Africa, so the high fees are unjustified, and safari prices are too high.
