The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a garden, and proximity to Lake Bolsena (20 km) and Tarquinia's beaches (50-minute drive).

The park and the two pools let us rest and relax. The cleanliness and the welcome at the desk were good. However, breakfast could be improved: several machines were not working, and a staff member at the dining area—probably the manager—was not very empathetic. We had to wait a bit to enjoy some services.

The staff were friendly and the spa was a highlight, and breakfast was good, but the restaurant’s menu felt too limited for stays longer than two nights, the dishes were rather simple for the price even though they were decent, and the room rates seemed a bit steep for what is actually offered.

The indoor pool was extremely relaxing, and the Kneipp walk and sauna were excellent. Outdoor pools were also very nice. We dined and had breakfast at the hotel, and both were prepared and presented very well. The front desk was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Because it was across the road from the military airport, there was some constant low‑frequency background noise when you were outside.

The heated and ambient-temperature pools are simply spectacular! Nothing! Everything was perfect.

We ended our holiday at Il Salus, staying two or three nights to soak in total relaxation – the spa is top, with kneipp, saunas, hammam, Turkish bath, hot pools at various temperatures, and regular pools for those who prefer cool water. The price‑to‑quality ratio is good. The reception staff are friendly and courteous, though the desk at the spa was a bit rude, but that happens. This year the breakfast felt a bit smaller and the quality dipped a touch, and the room was a little cramped.
