Our stay was a disaster from start to finish. The hotel's location was wrong, and it took us over 30 minutes to find it. The room was freezing, around 5°C, with no air conditioning and a heater that would shut off if turned up too high. We had to go outside to reset the battery every time. The shower and toilet weren't available in the room, and the men's shower room didn't even have a working lock.

This camper van was a total letdown. The ad said it was at Sodankyläntie 715, but it's actually at Joulupukintie 1, which isn't even close to a 24/7 gas station like they claimed. The van itself had no water, which wasn't mentioned before booking, and the private bathroom was basically useless without it. We had to use the stinky public bathrooms and showers, and walking between those and the van in -15°C was a nightmare on the icy surface.

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous place with our kids - the camper was pristine and the host was fantastic. We'd definitely stay here again in a heartbeat; the memories we made are priceless.
