What can I say? What an exceptional auberge!! Masayo-San and Yama-San made our stay at Maki no Oto better than “a home away from home.” They provided every comfort possible—from complimentary beverages in the room to arranging dinners at fabulous restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much!!!. Having to leave

We stayed in the Higashi room, which was lovely and offered plenty of space for two people plus bags; the large double bed had a sitting area behind it. Breakfast was fabulous, and the Teppanyaki dinner at a nearby restaurant was also great. The owner and staff were very welcoming, and we absolutely loved our stay at Maki No Oto. Nothing was missing; everything matched the description.

Beautiful building in the heart of Kinazawa. The staff, led by Yama san, were absolutely amazing. The rooms were luxurious and the facilities were excellent. Everything about this Ryokan met expectations and then some.

Boutique hotel with luxury comfort and personalized service. The bed was super comfortable, the shower and bath were amazing. Breakfast was freshly made and varied each day. The location is excellent, right in the historic district, just a 5‑minute taxi ride from the station. The friendly owner and his staff gave a wonderful welcome.
