The place is super convenient and very quiet, and the bed and pillows were the best I've had in all of Morocco; the floor of my room was spotless, so I have to commend the cleaning staff for their excellent work. The owner, Mr Barbara, is incredibly kind and even offered to drop my postcards off at the post office after I had already stamped them. I have to give them extra credit for providing facial tissues in the room—most hotels don't—so it was a huge help when I had a bad flu. Thank you so much. Everything was good.

Palacio del sol is a chic hotel right in the center of Medina, featuring high‑level artistic furniture and interior design. Our room was very spacious and immaculate, with a great mattress, pillows, and a wide shower. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, the food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful—booking taxis, handling luggage, and offering 24‑hour support. For the price, it’s truly a top‑tier accommodation in Chefchaouen. The only downside: a cabling or curtain for the shower would be useful!

The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is very generous and authentic, just as we wanted. The staff and the owner are very kind, and the location is perfect.
