The room was large, clean, and tidy, and the elevator offered a great view; the night view was beautiful. The hotel and in‑room amenities could be more modern to keep up with the times. The lobby lounge doesn’t allow food, probably a Japanese cultural habit, but a sign could remind guests.

The station was close and convenient. The loungewear was separated into top and bottom, and the fabric felt good on the skin. The room had a slight odor, and one pillowcase was clean while the other was yellowed.

I liked the retro vibe in a good way, and the staff and facilities still give off that “proper Japanese hotel” feel, which I appreciated. The shower pressure was strong and great! The hotel’s age might explain why some equipment feels slightly old, the TV is small, and the amenities don’t seem very female‑friendly—maybe because it’s close to Makuhari Messe—but overall it’s clean and good.

The hotel is a stone’s throw from the Makuhari Messe, the bus stop, and the subway station, and the breakfast was decent while the room stayed fairly clean. The equipment feels a bit dated, and the door still uses a key, which can be a bit clunky at times.
