The staff were very good and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent and freshly made on the premises. The rooms need updating, but we were comfortable even though a little Spartan; this is a listed building, so it’s not a straightforward task.

The staff were excellent and arranged a taxi for us on short notice. The car park was a little small.

The location was great for us. The evening meal was absolutely spot on—tasty, hot, fresh, and with plenty of choices. We didn’t get breakfast on either day, but it was available to order. The room was great, clean, with very comfortable beds, towels, and a kettle; the shower was nice and warm. It was good value for money for the three of us. The staff were lovely, helpful, and cheerful. Thanks.
