River View Lodge sits on the lower Chobe River in Kazungula, offering rooms and chalets with private verandas, en‑suite bathrooms, air‑conditioning, ceiling fans, and tea‑and‑coffee facilities. Guests enjoy garden and river vistas, an outdoor pool, on‑site bar and restaurant, and can book game drives, boat cruises, and Victoria Falls day trips. Chobe National Park is 14 km away; Kasane Airport, 12 km.

A beautifully laid out lodge overlooking the Chobe River, with plenty of nice seating areas to relax. The pool was cleared of leaves several times a day, so it was refreshing. The food was good, and one evening we even had fresh grilled items, and the picnic during the 6‑hour game drive was fantastic! The Sundowner river cruise is recommended (fantastic) and the 6‑hour game drive is worth it (you can drive further into the park, making it quieter with other vehicles). The family room was fine, the bathroom was good, everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The trip organization was very good (we booked everything through the lodge). The dinner took a bit too long to be served, and the 3‑hour game drive felt too short.

What a stunning spot. I’ll definitely be staying here again on future visits. So tranquil. Lovely staff. Great room. The dinner took a bit too long to be served and was a bit drawn out for us.
