The place was overall nice and the owner was great, giving me a wonderful experience. The only downside for me was the lack of Wi‑Fi, which mattered as a foreigner.

It was unbelievable. Even when we walked through the property we stepped everywhere into chicken droppings. We never even entered because there was no one on site. Do you not check the accommodations? How could something like this happen? Properties can be old but still well maintained.

The man who rents out the place was very, very nice and the area was very quiet. However, from the moment we arrived we were shocked by the gate to the house. The equipment was extremely outdated and terrible for us. There was only one mattress for two adults with a fitted duvet. The room was clean, but half the walls were either unfinished or not plastered. The entire house had only one toilet and shower or bath facilities on another floor. The landlord lives in the house and the room for the mechanic shares the same bathroom, which was disgusting for me as a woman. The bathroom window wouldn’t open. It was very dirty for us. The electrical wiring seemed questionable. Chickens roamed free even though we had two dogs. The description mentioned a parking spot, but it was in the nettles opposite the house. Honestly, I would never stay here again.

It’s not far from the castle, very quiet, friendly owner, and has a unique decor and setup. It may not suit everyone, so check the description and pictures beforehand.
