“Ideaal als tussenstop . Niet voor een week vakantie.”
The house looks nice after renovation, and the spacious bedrooms come with good beds. The kitchen and bathroom are fine, and the well‑kept fenced garden made my dog happy. Its location is ideal for exploring nearby villages and cities. A bottle of wine and crostini cake were offered as a welcome. Check‑in was quick via the lockbox, and communication was handled through WhatsApp. However, the kitchen equipment didn’t match the description or photos: only five water glasses, a few plates and coffee cups were available. For cooking there was just one old, worn pan and a pot whose lid didn’t fit. There was no coffee machine. This is not a B&B, unlike other surrounding countries. Tea and coffee were provided, but that was it (the two biscuits past their expiry date were not counted). There was no garden set or tent either. The host promised to address this in the future, but for us it remained just words. I should read the comments more carefully next time; staying for one night is a big difference from a week’s holiday. The road (SP) was also much busier than expected.
