If you appreciate simplicity, this spot is perfect for you, just like it was for me; the private accommodation matched the photos, and the 70s‑era bathroom that worried me at first turned out to be very functional, with plenty of gear available; the surroundings were very quiet, and Sylvie was attentive to guests and offered solid advice, making for a genuinely simple yet successful stay.

The location was great, quiet, with a garden next to the cabin where you could sit outside; it felt a bit dated, had no kitchen (only a fridge), was small, and the bathroom didn’t work well, but given the price that’s understandable.

The spot near Limeuil was handy, and the host was accommodating; even during a heatwave the house stayed very cool at night, making it good for a few nights’ sleep, though I think a more modern and streamlined décor would showcase the place better; nothing in particular to note other than the décor and clutter that could be improved.
