The AC cut out automatically all night, making it hot for me, and every time it switched off the fan noise disturbed my sleep.

The room was great, the air‑conditioner didn’t blow directly onto the bed, the water heater was a simple on‑demand type and worked nicely, the TV functioned without hassle, the space was clean, the separate bathroom stayed dry – all very pleasant. Breakfast was acceptable, the hotel has an elevator which is handy for seniors or those with lots of luggage. The hotel couldn’t issue a receipt or tax invoice when booked through Booking; we had to rely on Booking’s assistance, which eventually got the hotel to cancel the reservation so we could receive the paperwork by booking directly. I’ve never encountered this before when booking via Booking, so it’s a lesson to double‑check next time. Fortunately Booking and the hotel cancelled without charge this time, and the accommodation was fine, but if you book through Booking and they can’t provide a receipt because payment isn’t made directly to the hotel, I won’t return.
