The campsite is huge and well laid‑out, and our bungalow had everything we needed and sat right on the edge of the forest. They allow pets, so my family and our little dog spent two nights there. The on‑site minimarket didn’t have much, but it rescued us on Saint Stephen’s Day when every supermarket was closed and we just wanted something cheap to cook in the bungalow’s little kitchen. It’s literally a 10‑minute drive from Colmar’s centre, so I’d recommend it if you’re driving and don’t want to pay a fortune staying downtown. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping, and we ended up bringing our own sheets and towels because the rental rates were far too high.

Close to tourist villages, quiet… friendly staff. It’s just a shame that there is no bakery service in the morning during winter.
