The location was very convenient, the room was spacious and clean, the area was quiet and the wifi was fast – perfect for a remote worker. It rained during my stay and some insects slipped in through gaps in the door.

The place was so moldy that we had to leave without a refund because it was in terrible condition. Everything was bad!

The only positive was that it was close to a massage shop. The reviews tricked us; if that was the only room available, we shouldn’t have booked. We booked for the room, not the price, and it was too awful. We made a hasty decision, but it was a shock.

The room was spotless, the air‑conditioning was inverter‑type, and there was a window facing the street plus a spot to hang swimwear; hot water worked fine, though the pressure was low, which seems typical for the Philippines. The best part was how close it was to the main street—everything was easy to reach, and getting off the boat was a breeze. For the price you could book this place, so I think it’s a great deal. The hotel can arrange tours at reasonable rates; the Jiāhuá Mountain stream‑crawling tour usually costs 2000 p, but the shuttle was a bit like a small truck and the air‑conditioning wasn’t very cool, making the seats uncomfortable. The travel agency we used felt rushed; if you’re not bothered by a bit of hassle, you could book your own tour for better quality. Still, the hotel and the agency communicated well, we had our luggage taken to Jiāhuá Mountain, and we went straight from there to Ōsuru, so everything worked out.
