Very well priced; I didn’t use the on‑site facilities because it was a working trip, the caravan was well presented and clean, which was much appreciated.

The site club was ok, but the caravan was dated and not for me; I will not book with again. Regards.

The place was filthy; we found papers under the beds, dust on the blankets and the couches were dusty too, so we had to buy our own blankets.

We liked the Clubhouse – the seating was clean and the staff were friendly, and the mini market stocked everything you could need. The caravan itself looked worn, had stains on the ceiling, and the kids’ bedroom window wouldn’t open; in this weather we really could have used it. Because no air was coming through, the kids had to sleep on the sofa. The shower temperature swung wildly – 30 seconds warm, then ice cold, then back to warm – so you had to keep fiddling with it, which made for an unpleasant shower. The vinyl on the sides was missing pieces, there was hair in the shower, and the double mattress on a small double bed frame made me hang over the edge and be uncomfortable. The pillows were bad, so bring extras because we had to fold ours to get a decent pillow. I suggest leaving leaflets around the caravan so guests know what’s happening in the area, like a park map, because all the activities mentioned are actually on another caravan park next door.

The caravan was a good size, clean and tidy, and the site was in a nice spot with a decent distance to the beach. A slight issue was the shower boiler not lighting, and a few minor points: the grill couldn’t be lit, the iron leaked when used, the fridge was missing front door racks – basic maintenance is needed. The curtain rail in the main bedroom was hanging off the headboard, kitchen bedroom cupboard doors had hinges that weren’t attached, and the table was a bit large for the living area. The site services swimming pool pricing was wrong – it was £5 per person, not £4 & £2 as told in the email – and the swimming session only lasted 45 minutes. The website advertisement failed to mention the football area at the rear of the caravan, so if you’re looking for a quiet stay it won’t happen, as it was used from 8 am until the last light. The clubhouse only accepted card payment, no cash at all.
