“OK for a budget friendly overnight stop”
The price was very reasonable, less than half of other places nearby, so my expectations were low; the young lady who ran the hotel handled reception, bar, cooking, and serving, was efficient, kind, and helpful but didn’t stay on site, and there was good secure bike storage—great for a cyclist who also enjoys a restaurant. The hotel is very basic, mainly catering to truck drivers, and the ensuite bathroom was probably the smallest I’ve seen that still fits a washbasin, toilet, and shower.
