The facilities were solid, yet the drinks were a bit pricey.
The service was excellent, the food delicious, the location easy to reach, and everything looked lovely. However, there was no hot water.
The common areas were good, but the room itself felt cramped, with glass doors that offered little privacy; the curtains on those doors were too short, letting anyone peek in from the corners, and hallway light seeped in all night—blackout curtains would help. The mattress was excessively soft and uncomfortable, as were the pillows, and there was no hot water, with the pressure barely enough.
The grounds felt very natural and served as a nice escape from the city, plus the place was pretty. Katherine and the rest of the staff were especially helpful and assisted us with everything we needed, leaving us enamored with the venue. On arrival, finding the entrance was tricky because it’s somewhat hidden; a sign on the road would clarify the location.
