The place was clean and quiet. The pool wasn’t very clean at first, but it seems they’ve already sorted that out.

Ida and her staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived on Friday evening during Ramadan, so most restaurants were closed; Ida made a few calls and later took us to one of the few open places with really good food, and she also arranged a scooter rental for us. If we ever return to Langkawi, we’ll definitely stay here again. The only downside is that it’s located on a fairly busy road.

The owner, a woman, sabotaged my moped tires before check‑out, apparently fearing I wouldn't pay after a week, almost causing a crash and endangering other Malaysians. She should be reported to police. The pool stayed green and unusable the whole stay, the main reason I booked; no maintenance happened. When I mentioned this, she told me to leave at 1 pm the day before my scheduled checkout, leaving me stranded on Chinese New Year with nowhere to stay. I ended up at a Buddhist monastery, which she could learn from, yet she still charged me for that night—essentially robbing me. The mattress was the cheapest possible and made sleeping nearly impossible, especially since the hotel sits next to a main highway intersection, constantly noisy with boy racers revving their super‑charged mopeds and trucks passing by. The location is awful, at least a 30‑minute walk to decent restaurants, beaches, or other attractions. The place was generally unclean; I had to sweep up rat droppings on my floor by the bed and in the bathroom every morning. Avoid this place at all costs; the photos are outdated and don't reflect reality.

The room was very clean, and I loved it. It had a sink and a cabinet for dishes.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and the price was great for what you get: a room with A.C., Wi‑Fi, a pool, a double bed, a nice little shop right below you, and a lovely view of the pool and mountains. The foam pillows and the noisy road at night—bikes flying past all hours until early AM—really affected our sleep; that was our only issue after a few days of broken sleep. It caught up with us; it's not their fault—the location is on the road, and it's the bikers and cars with stupidly loud exhausts.
