The room itself was acceptable, but there are several drawbacks: 1. No air conditioning in the room, making it extremely hot. 2. The room door cannot stay closed automatically. You must lock it with a key; otherwise, it will swing open on its own. What happened after check-out was very disappointing. I accidentally left a Ralph Lauren shirt inside the room. I contacted the host immediately after realising my loss and asked for a thorough search. The host repeatedly stated that they had checked everywhere and could not locate the item. When I politely requested access to CCTV footage covering the time around my check-out for verification, the host avoided this request and refused to provide surveillance videos over the phone. Afterwards, they stopped answering my calls. It is disappointing that the host was unwilling to cooperate with verification when a guest lost valuable belongings. There is a high risk if you leave precious items here. Travellers carrying valuable personal belongings should think carefully before booking.

I stayed in a nicely situated room close to the train station, it was spacious and the corridor had a microwave and a kettle. The host was always reachable and the daily cleaning was on point. However, the towels never got changed during the three days, there was no air‑conditioning, and the fan didn’t help at all when it got hot.

The Japanese owner kindly pointed out several cafés and restaurants that turned out to be delicious. The place was very accessible, close to a supermarket, and I didn’t encounter any inconveniences. I’m extremely grateful to the owner and would love to return.

“L'essenzialità a volte è una benedizione.”

B&b dove la parola d'ordine è "essenzialità". Si trova a due passi dalla stazione di santa Maria novella, staff simpaticissimo, prezzo onesto e stanza abbastanza grande con phon, un grande ventilatore, armadio, ripiani, comodino, armadietti con lucchetto, sedie, scrivania e balconcino privato. Lo spazio non manca! Il bagno privato è fuori la stanza e si accede tramite chiave personale. Completa l'offerta microonde, bollitore e qualcosina per la colazione. Manca il bidet (almeno nel bagno che ci è stato assegnato), bagno piccolo ma funzionale, la pressione dell'acqua era bassa ma sufficiente. Inserirei una macchinetta del caffè a cialde. Il vero problema dell'estate saranno le temperature, l'intero edificio era molto caldo e non c'è condizionatore negli spazi comuni e nelle stanze
