The location of this hotel is fantastic - just a short walk from all the major landmarks in central Valjevo.
The night staff were completely unfriendly, but the morning crew made up for it.

“Tolles Grand Hotel zum Entspannen.”
The hotel is not only called Grand Hotel but also exudes the aura of a Grand Hotel. The reception hall of the beautiful old building with a great stucco façade is very large, furnished with beautiful old furniture upholstered in red velvet, and features a huge window front on three sides. The rooms are large, each with a bathtub. The hotel hasn’t been modernized; it still lives in the old style with real materials, which is exactly the charm. Everything is simply organized and works. The price is very reasonable. The hotel could charge a bit more. It’s completely quiet, even though it’s right in the middle of town by the river. Breakfast is not offered.

The room was dirty, the shower cabin was filthy, and even the shower head was dripping like a waterfall… not a good experience.

The location was nice and central, and it was cheap. The service was decent. However, you couldn’t pay with a card, only cash, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, there was no breakfast, and there was no option for coffee or drinks.
