“Surprisingly good hotel so close to the station!”
The location right by the train station in Verona was really convenient; the staff were helpful and friendly, the bed comfortable, the bathroom excellent, and the breakfast was ok. It was hard to find the hotel, as it was supposed to be signposted from Platform 1 of the station but we had to ask for directions and only ever came across one tiny sign. Arriving pretty late in the evening from the airport, the platforms were deserted apart from homeless people sleeping on the benches, so it was a bit unnerving not to be able to find it easily.
