“Great place to stay close to QE Ishasha gate”
The Lodge sits in a superb spot near the QE park gate, and the rooms are attractive with private balconies overlooking open grassland. Mealtimes are scheduled, but they were very accommodating outside those times. We hired one of their guides to explore the park—he was well informed, though we didn’t find the tree‑climbing lions. When our rental car broke down, the staff’s mechanic helped the rental company and let us wait while the work was done. The restaurant area, check‑in space, and seating area all share one large room, so it was noisy with a permanent TV playing promos; they did turn it off in the evening at my request.
