The place has modern facilities, is exceptionally clean, the bed is comfortable, the location is quiet, and it’s close to Alqueva lake and Monsaraz.

The spot is calm and peaceful with a nice view. The welcome was good, and Oscar took care of the keys! The rooms are just bedrooms—there’s no kitchenette. They provide kettles and a mini fridge, but a slightly larger fridge and maybe a microwave would be welcome.

The experience at this accommodation was far below expectations. The bathroom emitted an extremely unpleasant and lingering odor, making it hard to stay in the room. The fridge was tiny, and inside we found rotten cheese and moldy butter, showing a clear lack of hygiene and guest checks. Moreover, the blinds were torn, the TV had no signal, and the AC remote had no batteries, rendering it unusable. These are basic problems that should be fixed before guests arrive. For the price paid, I expected a clean, functional, and minimally cared-for space.

There’s a pool in the garden and a seat where you can overlook the mountains.

Overall, even though the outdoor area isn’t as green as the pictures, it’s super calm and relaxing. It was pleasant, and Ana was very friendly. She answered all questions and gave tips on where we could eat. The cleanliness was impeccable. The stay was enjoyable, and we loved the two beautiful dogs. Nothing to note!
