The bed was comfy and the spot was handy for the airport, but there was no front desk, so I had to call for the room key; a smoke alarm kept beeping all night because of a flat battery, the sign from Dunmow Rd was dark and hard to spot, a bad odor lingered—especially in the bathroom—and the bathroom door in room 5 wouldn’t shut.

I liked the location since I was flying the next day, but nothing else stood out; it was fine for just one night. The parking felt a bit cramped, and I had to sleep with one eye open because I was leaving early and didn’t want to feel boxed in.

The rooms were perfect, but the location was bad, the info was bad, and the communication was bad. They moved my hotel to a different address and I didn’t know until I got there; I couldn’t even find the hotel. I drove with the taxi driver for over 20 minutes. Very bad service.

The accommodation is only a few kilometres from Stansted Airport. It wasn’t mentioned beforehand that it was a self‑check‑in. When I arrived, nobody was there and I only got the code after calling.
