A lovely, warm Albanian home with an amazing couple who made me feel very welcome. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh and made with love. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine Albanian experience.

The location is perfect for exploring the historic center, but I didn’t use the breakfast. A clearer sign would make finding the place easier.

The cost‑performance is high, and access to the old town is superb. However, there’s no sign, so I had to ask locals a lot before finally finding it. The address listed on the booking site is completely wrong, making it hard to locate. From the nearby bus stop to the hostel, a taxi is advisable because the slope is steep – be careful if you’re carrying luggage. The host feels very much like a roommate, so it may not suit those who value privacy.

This place feels like a home – the family, especially Mira, was incredibly kind and even picked me up when I got the location wrong. I really enjoyed staying here; the shared bathroom is only with one other room, which I liked. I can’t recommend it enough.

The family is incredibly friendly, and the spot is right in the heart of the old town, letting you truly live in a traditional home. They provide a very complete breakfast for €5, with fresh juice, fruit, and homemade jam. I highly recommend it! I always felt at home, and they even welcomed my dog at no extra charge.
