Ruissalo Spa Hotel

The only good thing was that the room was clean and the room service was fast! Thanks for that. The rooms were truly basic and old, with no ventilation, no fridge, and not even a kettle. The spa area was small and very basic; a renovation would be good. The staff at Restaurant Aava were somehow indifferent. We waited an hour for food and eventually the order was cancelled, which had never even started cooking. They didn’t apologize for this. We left hungry, ruining the evening. The overall experience was not good. Unfortunately.

The location was absolutely amazing, especially during the autumn season! The gym was tidy and quiet. The spa sauna was wonderful, and I loved plunging into the cool sea water surrounded by beautiful scenery. The old oak trees and other shrubs were impressive in the autumn colors, and the jogging trails were stunning. The hotel was pet-friendly, which was a plus. The rooms were plain. In the spa, there were not enough showers for the number of people during the busiest time. Breakfast was varied, but the staff were too few for the crowd, so we had to wait for table spots and some breakfast items.

Clean common areas. Breakfast fresh and comprehensive. The room was worn out; the night light and hair dryer didn’t work.

“Kylpylämatkailujat”

Good beds and excellent breakfast, also great views. Plenty of pillows for the back and for watching TV from bed. The shower room in the spa was small and you had to queue for the shower. The cleanliness of the private bathroom could improve; the shelf still had toothpaste residue from the previous guest. The room itself was clean.
