The location is very good and fairly quiet. The staff are attentive and respectful, and there is a small swimming pool. Walking paths around are suitable for strolls, and the property has its own parking. However, the breakfast offered only a limited selection of cheese and there was no plain black tea. Unfortunately, there were ants in the room, which was small, dark, and poorly lit. The lighting was severely inadequate.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I slept very well. Getting to and from the motorway was easy thanks to a huge parking lot, and a Lidl supermarket sits right opposite the car‑park entrance. We drove down to Saint Jean de Luz, but the streets were very narrow, crowded with pedestrians, and there was no parking, so we parked at the hotel and walked into town, which took about 30 minutes. The town itself is beautiful. Breakfast offered an excellent variety of cold foods, and the hotel has a restaurant for evening meals. The only downside was the absence of a kettle in the room for hot drinks.

The service was good. It was difficult to locate the building, though the staff explained the directions; each time the routes differ and are hard to reach. Everything else was fine.
