The location is excellent, close to the centre and just a few minutes from the beach. I really enjoyed my stay here. The landlord was very nice and helpful. The room door was a bit hard to close; it required a good kick from inside to shut properly.

Nothing positive, nothing. The room was filthy, extremely small, had no chair or small table, walls, floor, and windows were dirty, the bathroom was extremely dirty, there was no Wi‑Fi except in the entrance area, the owner was unfriendly and told me to sit on the stairs to use the internet, the reviews on Booking are probably fake, I would not have booked if I had seen the room in person, the price of 81 € was unjustified, I had no private bathroom, the shared bathroom was terribly dirty, the owner claimed to be the cheapest in the area but the price and quality did not match, the reviews repeatedly mention coziness and friendliness, which is untrue, there was no breakfast offered, I showed my room to other guests who were shocked, they had a slightly better simple room that cost the same, I paid the same price for the worst room in the house, after booking the owner immediately told me the room was simple and I didn’t have to take it, that I would get my money back within 24 hours, which sounded like a lot of trouble he had had with guests before.

The staff were very welcoming and the room was cool, which helped a lot with the high humidity and heat. I wish there had been a breakfast option in the morning.

Colin answered the phone right away and told me I’d be upgraded to a better room, which was a nice touch. It’s not the Grand Hotel, but it’s a good value B&B near the sea. I had a bit of trouble with Colin’s door lock system because my 77‑year‑old fingers aren’t as nimble as they used to be, but he was patient and helpful.
